A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Vice President of Operations in Dallas, TX. This would be a direct hire opportunity with a fast-growing Specialty Pharmaceutical company based in Dallas. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Vice President of Operations Position Summary:

The Vice President of Operations serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance and long-term operational strategy.

This leader will drive organizational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, inventory management, facilities, and operational planning while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational expertise and has a proven track record building scalable operations within highly regulated industries.

Vice President of Operations Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

·       Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategy.

·       Establish operational goals, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with company objectives.

·       Lead long-term capacity planning and growth initiatives.

·       Identify and execute opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction.

Manufacturing Operations

·       Oversee pharmaceutical manufacturing and production activities.

·       Ensure operations meet quality, safety, and productivity requirements.

·       Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using Standard Operations Procedures.

·       Support facility expansions, automation projects, and new technology implementation.

Supply Chain & Distribution

·       Lead procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution functions.

·       Develop strategies to improve service levels and inventory performance.

·       Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and finished goods.

·       Optimize logistics and fulfillment operations.

Regulatory Compliance

·       Partner closely with Quality and Regulatory leadership to maintain inspection readiness.

·       Ensure operational compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, USP standards, and applicable state regulations.

·       Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

People Leadership

·       Develop, and retain high-performing operational leaders.

·       Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

·       Provide leadership and mentorship to directors, managers, and department leaders.

Financial Management

·       Develop and manage operational budgets.

·       Drive productivity improvements while maintaining quality standards.

·       Monitor operational performance against financial objectives.

Vice President of Operations Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

·       15+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.

·       7+ years leading managers and directors.

·       Experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, specialty pharmacy, biotechnology, medical devices, or other FDA-regulated environments.

·       Strong understanding of cGMP regulations and quality systems.

·       Demonstrated success scaling operations in a growth-oriented environment.

·       Experience leading large cross-functional teams.

·       Proven track record managing budgets and operational performance.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

·       MBA or advanced scientific degree.

·       Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or 503B outsourcing facilities.

·       Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent operational excellence certification.

·       Experience with facility expansions, automation initiatives, or startup operations.

·       Experience preparing organizations for FDA inspections.
