Job description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Finance to join our executive leadership team. The VP of Finance will provide enterprise-wide financial leadership, overseeing capital structure, financial strategy, enterprise risk management, and long-term value creation across a global organization.

This role partners closely with the CEO, President, CAO, and Board of Directors to shape corporate strategy, optimize capital allocation, and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, President, CAO, and Board of Directors
  • Lead enterprise financial planning, forecasting, and value creation initiatives
  • Own capital structure strategy, liquidity planning, and debt management
  • Oversee group consolidation, governance, and financial controls
  • Drive capital allocation decisions, including capital expenditures, strategic investments, and M&A initiatives
  • Establish and oversee enterprise risk management and governance frameworks
  • Develop global tax strategy and ensure regulatory and financial compliance
  • Lead financial communications with lenders, investors, and the Board (as applicable)
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global finance organization

  • Clear, accurate, and strategic Board-level reporting

Qualifications & Experience
  • CPA or equivalent professional designation required (MBA considered an asset)
  • 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
  • Prior VP of Finance or Divisional VP of Finance experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading global, multi-entity organizations
  • Strong expertise in capital markets, debt structuring, and banking relationships
  • Background in privately owned, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred
  • Excellent executive presence and Board-level communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and French (required). 85% of daily communications with CEO, President and CAO is in English. In addition this role includes direct oversight of a team based in the United States.
