Position Pays: $95,000 - $110,000 DOE

  • Position is bonus-eligible up to 60% annually, based on individual and company performance.

Job Overview:
Reporting to the District Vice President, the Branch Manager (BM) will be responsible for the overall branch staff, P&L, security, and customers, present and future growth. BM must review staff for proper scheduling and routing of all City, Bank, ATM, and OTR armored routes, to include the weekend routes, continuing to maintain the appropriate route manifest while establishing and maintaining route productivity standards.ย  BM is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering policies and procedures, with overall supervision of operational activities as directed by the District Vice President.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ขย ย  ย P & L controlling of Branch labor, revenue, and profit margin.
โ€ขย ย  ย Oversight and coordination of Recruiting, interviewing, testing, selecting, and training of operations personnel. Training, development, and performance evaluation of operations supervisors.
โ€ขย ย  ย Oversight and coordination of route, dispatch, vault, and terminal operations through respective managers/supervisors.
โ€ขย ย  ย Oversight and coordination of maintenance of vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment. See that preventive maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner.
โ€ขย ย  ย Controlling the costs of operations.
โ€ขย ย  ย Safety of employees, vehicles, and facilities through training, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures.
โ€ขย ย  ย Security of cargo and terminal through training, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures.
โ€ขย ย  ย Investigating accidents and processing required paperwork.
โ€ขย ย  ย Developing and maintaining customer service capabilities among all operations staff. Responding to customer inquiries and/or complaints.
โ€ขย ย  ย Coordinating with sales, other Loomis branches and departments, corporate staff, other carriers, and vendors.
โ€ขย ย  ย Controlling overtime hours. Monitoring employee vacation schedules. Maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency of route, terminal, and vault operations.
โ€ขย ย  ย Short and long-range operational planning to meet branch goals.
Key Relationships:
โ€ขย ย  ย Supervisors โ€“ The Branch Manager will consult with and accept advice/direction from the District Vice President on a daily basis.
โ€ขย ย  ย Subordinates โ€“ The Branch Manager is responsible for the training, counseling, disciplining, conduct, and evaluation of supervisors and hourly employees under his/her direction on a daily basis.
โ€ขย ย  ย Customers โ€“ The Branch Manager will communicate with customers on a regular basis.
โ€ขย ย  ย Sales/Administration โ€“ The Branch Manager will communicate with sales and administration regarding updates of service, customers, and payroll issues.

Primary Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in either Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5ย years of experience leadingย logisticsย and operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managementย experience is required.
  • Armored car or transportation experience a Plus
  • Military experience is a Plus
  • Minimum 2ย yearsโ€™ experience managing P/L &ย KPIโ€™s,ย required.
  • Ability to pass and maintainย all applicable licensing requirements (i.e.,ย firearms, MVR, etc.).ย
