VP, Sales Development (High-Growth FinTech SaaS)

Location: Toronto, ON (3 days/week on site)

Overview

We are partnering with the executive team of a premier, FinTech/SaaS pioneer scaling across North America.

They are hiring a Vice President, Sales Development to report to the Chief Revenue Officer and own the global pipeline generation engine. Overseeing an established team poised to double over the next 1- 2 years, you will unify outbound prospecting, inbound demand, and product-led growth (PLG) into a predictable revenue driver.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the global Sales Development playbook; sit on the Revenue Leadership Team to shape cross-functional GTM strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and expand a multi-tiered organization of managers and SDR/BDR reps, establishing high-performance coaching frameworks and career paths.
  • Modernize outreach by combining account-based outbound motions, PLG user conversion, and AI-driven automation tools.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps on lead routing, ideal customer profiles, and conversion efficiency.
  • Track performance metrics (pipeline velocity, PQL/MQL conversion, speed-to-lead, and forecast accuracy).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of SaaS revenue leadership
  • Track record of predictably scaling pipeline in high-growth B2B SaaS (Mid-Market & Enterprise focus).
  • Hands-on expertise blending outbound prospecting with PLG/inbound conversion.
  • Proficiency using modern sales tech, AI, and automation to scale team output.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and commute to the Toronto office 2–3 days per week.
