Job Description

The Vice President of Marketing leads the marketing strategy and execution for Unitek Learning's Workforce Solutions division. This executive role is responsible for building and scaling a modern, data-informed, and AI-enabled marketing organization that supports employee demand generation within hospital partner systems, as well as brand awareness, demand creation, and sales marketing for hospital executives purchasing Unitek's workforce education solutions. 

Operating as a senior divisional leader, the Vice President of Marketing independently leads the marketing function, sets strategic direction, and builds durable systems that scale with the business. This role requires strong executive judgment, external-facing credibility, and the ability to influence complex internal and partner stakeholders while leading through growth and change. 

  • Develop and lead the multi-year marketing and growth strategy for the Workforce Solutions division (GTM / Positioning)
  • Anticipate and plan for scale across hospital partners, geographies, and workforce programs.
  • Set strategic priorities, make data-informed tradeoffs, and guide the organization through periods of growth and stabilization. 
  • Operate as an executive leader with independent decision-making authority, accountability, and ownership of the marketing function.
  • Own and manage the divisional marketing budget, allocating resources across employee demand generation, brand awareness, sales marketing, agencies, and technology. 
  • Partner with Finance on planning, forecasting, and growth modeling to ensure marketing investments scale efficiently. 
  • Lead the employee-facing marketing strategy that drives enrollment within hospital partner systems, including internal communications, benefits, and HR platforms, leader cascades, on-site engagement, events, and physical and digital collateral.
  • Ensure consistent, repeatable execution of employee demand initiatives while adapting to partner-specific needs and environments.
  • Oversee co-branded marketing strategy and governance with hospital partners to protect and strengthen both brands.
  • Build brand awareness and credibility for Workforce Solutions among hospital executive buyers and decision-makers.
  • Develop pipeline/demand generation - utilizes CRM/Hubspot
  • Develop executive-level messaging, positioning, and storytelling tailored to key buyer personas.
  • Lead the creation and evolution of thought leadership, case studies, and outcomes-based narratives that support sales and business development. 
  • Own sales marketing and enablement assets, including executive presentations, sales partnership, messaging frameworks, and supporting tools
  • Leverage data, AI, and automation to improve marketing effectiveness, personalization, speed, and operational efficiency.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing organization with clear ownership, accountability, and career progression. 
  • Establish operating rhythms, workflows, standards, and playbooks that reduce ad-hoc work and support scale.
  • Lead and manage external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality, consistent execution.
  • Partner with enterprise marketing teams across Unitek Learning to align where appropriate and eliminate duplication.
  • Set and enforce brand, messaging, and execution standards across all Workforce Solutions marketing activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.  Master's degree preferred. 
  • Ten or more years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including demonstrated success driving growth through marketing initiatives. 
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing teams through periods of growth, change, and complexity. 
  • Strong data, marketing ops, analytics, and performance orientation, with experience using insights to guide strategy and investment decisions. 
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior internal leaders, external partners, and executive-level stakeholders. 
  • Ability to operate independently, make sound decisions in ambiguous environments, and lead with accountability. 
  • Experience in healthcare, workforce development, education, or adjacent industries preferred. 
  • Experience with co-branded or partner-led marketing models and enterprise B2B or field marketing environments preferred. 
  • Demonstrated use of CRM/Hubspot, AI, automation, and modern marketing technologies to improve efficiency and scale. 
  • Experience operating within multi-brand or matrixed organizations preferred.
