Job Title: Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT) Location-Type: Onsite – 5 Days/Week in Northfield, VT Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: Permanent Compensation Range: $250,000 – $300,000 Base Salary 30% Annual Bonus Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Job Description: Lead and scale the enterprise IT organization, driving technology strategy, ERP optimization, operational excellence, and business growth across a manufacturing-focused consumer products company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the entire IT organization across ERP, Applications, Development, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Help Desk functions
  • Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and participate in company-wide strategic planning initiatives
  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, HR, and executive leadership to align technology investments with business objectives
  • Own ERP strategy, governance, enhancements, integrations, vendor management, and long-term roadmap planning
  • Lead managers and teams across multiple IT disciplines while developing internal talent and succession plans
  • Drive enterprise technology initiatives that improve scalability, operational efficiency, and organizational growth
  • Oversee enterprise applications, eCommerce systems, APIs, EDI integrations, reporting platforms, and data ecosystems
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasting, resource planning, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure cybersecurity, business continuity, disaster recovery, and system reliability across the enterprise
  • Establish governance, prioritization, and execution frameworks to support business growth and operational excellence
  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring technology platforms can scale while maintaining minimal downtime

Minimum Requirements:

  • 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Significant ERP ownership and leadership experience with Infor M3 preferred; SAP or Microsoft ERP strongly considered
  • Background supporting manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, wholesale, or consumer product organizations
  • Started career in a hands-on technical role such as Developer, Applications Specialist, ERP Analyst, Solutions Architect, or similar
  • Experience leading enterprise applications, ERP, data & analytics, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support functions
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership teams
  • Experience operating in lean organizations with highly engaged internal teams
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology strategies
  • Experience managing enterprise integrations, APIs, EDI platforms, and business-critical systems
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, forecasting, and technology investment experience
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change
  • Experience supporting cloud-based enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Infor M3 expertise
  • Experience with Snowflake and/or Power BI
  • Consumer products, wholesale, or manufacturing industry experience
  • Enterprise Solution Architecture background
  • Experience supporting global expansion initiatives and large-scale ERP implementations
