WHAT DOES AN SVP, CLIENT SERVICES, MEDCOMM DO?

The role of a Senior Vice President (SVP), Client Services, MedComm involves leading client relationships and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical communications. The SVP, Client Services, MedComms at EVERSANA INTOUCH is responsible for leading client relationships and ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies. The SVP will lead client meetings and presentations, providing strategic insights and recommendations, and develop client service strategies that align with client goals and regulatory requirements. Key duties include overseeing the development and execution of medical communication plans, ensuring the scientific accuracy of all content, and leading a team of account managers and medical communication professionals. The SVP will foster a collaborative work environment, manage workload distribution, identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, monitor market trends, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, this role will implement quality control processes and monitor client satisfaction and project performance metrics. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement client service strategies that align with client goals and regulatory requirements.  

  • Oversee the development and execution of medical communication plans and campaigns.  

  • Ensure the scientific accuracy and integrity of all medical content produced by the agency.  

  • Lead and mentor a team of account managers and medical communication professionals.  

  • Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment, encouraging innovation and excellence.  

  • Manage workload distribution and ensure timely delivery of projects.  

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and potential client accounts.  

  • Develop proposals and pitch presentations to secure new projects and clients.  

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies.  

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes for all client service activities.  

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.  

  • Monitor and report on client satisfaction and project performance metrics.

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Advanced degree in a medical or scientific field (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD).  

  • Extensive experience in client services, medical communications, or a related field, preferably within a pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising agency.  

  • Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of medical and regulatory environments
