Vice President, Enterprise Applications

The Vice President, Enterprise Applications is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategy, governance, performance, and lifecycle management ofNeighborly'senterprise application portfolio.Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role oversees the platforms that support core business operations, including ERP, CRM, HCM/HRIS, finance, collaboration, analytics, data, integration, and internally developed systems. The Vice President ensures these applications are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with businessobjectivesthrough effective operations, modernization, and continuous improvement efforts. Working closely with business leaders, this role drives process optimization, automation, data integrity, and actionable insights that improve organizational performance.

In partnership with the Enterprise PMO, Quality Assurance, Architecture, and Integration teams, the Vice President leads the successful delivery of application initiatives and ensures alignment with enterprise technology standards.

As a Vice President, Enterprise Applications on the Technology team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Develop and execute a multi-yearcorporate applications strategy and roadmapaligned with Neighborly's business priorities, growth plans, and technology strategy.
  • Own thestrategy, lifecycle, product ownership, service levels, maintenance, modernization, and operational healthof the corporate application and database portfolio.
  • Partner with theEnterprise PMO & QA organizationon PMO-led demand intake, prioritization, funding, delivery governance, quality assurance, and benefits realization, prioritizing investments based on business value, risk, scalability, regulatory requirements, and total cost of ownership.
  • Establish strongoperational readiness and application management practices, including monitoring, incident and problem management, change and release management, disaster recovery, business continuity, capacity, and proactive maintenance.
  • Partner withNeighborly'sChief Architect and Vice President of Application Integrationtoestablishand apply standards for architecture, configuration, development, APIs, integrations, master data, identity, testing, release management, and documentation.
  • Partner withFinance and other corporate functionsto translate business priorities into integrated, scalable solutions and ensure financially significant applications provideaccurate,timely, controlled, auditable, and trusted information.
  • Partner with theappropriate AIleadertoidentifyand implement responsible AI, intelligent automation, and analytics opportunities within corporate applications that improve productivity, accuracy, user experience, and business outcomes.
  • Lead major application implementations, integrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives in partnership with theEnterprise PMO & QA,maintainingaccountability for solution requirements, technical execution, platform operations, vendor performance, operational readiness, and business outcomes.
  • Embed security, privacy, compliance, controls, and audit readiness throughout the application lifecycle, partnering with Cybersecurity, Finance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk, and other stakeholders to address ITGCs, application controls, findings, and when applicable, SOX and IPO readiness.
  • Advise theCIO and executive leadershipon corporate application capabilities, investments, risks, performance, and emerging technology opportunities.

(Required Qualifications)

  • Experience:
    • 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology or corporate applications, including seven or more yearsinsenior leadership.
    • Executive leadership experience managing a complex corporate application portfolio that includes Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, and internally developed, financially significant applications.
    • Significant experience with ERP, CRM, HCM/HRIS, finance, reporting, integration, and cloud or SaaS platforms.
    • Proven success modernizing enterprise applications and delivering large-scale implementations, upgrades, integrations, and migrations within PMO-led portfolio and project governance.
    • Experience leading multidisciplinary application teams, operating within PMO-led governance, and establishing platform ownership, service-management practices, development standards, controls, and performance measures.
    • Strong knowledge of application architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, data management, identity and access management, cybersecurity, and operational resilience, with demonstrated success partnering with enterprise architecture and application integration leaders.
    • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, software vendors, systems integrators, contracts, licensing, consultants, and managed-service providers.
    • Strong executive communication and the ability to align technology strategy with company objectives, influence stakeholders, and lead complex organizational change.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with royalty, billing, revenue, or comparable transaction-management systems.
    • Experience supporting IPO readiness, SOX compliance, or a company's transition from private to public ownership.
    • Experience in a franchise, multi-brand, consumer services, field services, or distributed operating environment.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, ora relatedfield.
  • Schedule / in-office requirements:
    • Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
