Job description

Volvo Cars Orange County is excited to present an opportunity to join our family. As the highest volume Volvo Dealership in Orange County, this is a great opportunity to work for a premium brand with a premium culture for employees.

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of Volvo or High Line Experience. Be able to perform diagnosis, repair and replacement of automotive parts and accessories according to technical certification and skill level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is needed or required
  • Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
  • Document work performed
  • Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the lead technician for assistance.

Service Technician / Mechanic - Requirements:

  • Team Player
  • Willingness to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction
  • Willingness to learn the brand
  • Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment
