Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
  • Experience in PACU, PICU, and NICU strongly preferred
  • Comfortable caring for pediatric patients across a variety of acuity levels
  • Active Registered Nurse license; pending state license may be accepted if in hand by the required deadline
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and Infant-Driven Feeding Certificate
  • Epic experience required
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • BSN preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing unit needs
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality pediatric nursing care to patients across critical care and acute care settings
  • Support care in NICU, PICU, Pediatric ED, and Acute Pediatrics as assigned
  • Deliver safe, compassionate care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
  • Monitor patients with complex medical and surgical needs, including ventilatory support and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Assist with neonatal resuscitation, high-risk deliveries, and specialized pediatric procedures when needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Follow unit policies, float guidelines, and scheduling expectations
  • Contribute to a family-centered care environment that supports positive outcomes for patients and their loved ones
