Job description

Job Description:

This volunteer position is designed for those who want to help in a general capacity at Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services. The role will include: Assisting clients with transportation, child care, research on resources, danger assessments, safety planning and more. Other duties may include: sorting donations, data entry, attending events, donation collection, court advocacy, assisting clients with moving, administrative duties, making appointments with clients and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • The volunteer may be required to drive, so valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
  • Must have at least one year of previous child care experience.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • 40 hours of training are required to complete (online and self-paced) before beginning this position.
  • An 8 hour a week commitment for at least one semester is preferred.

Hours:

Scheduling and hours are negotiable but must fall between Monday-Friday 9a-5p. Weekend and evening hours not available at this time.
