Job description

The Communications Focal Point Cyber Liaison serves as the primary focal point for incoming cyber orders and directives affecting Hanscom AFB and GSUs. The position coordinates execution, tracks compliance, develops leadership-facing Power BI dashboards and briefings, supports COMSEC and outage coordination, and maintains official cybersecurity documentation and evidence in alignment with Air Force, DoD, and federal cybersecurity directives.
  • Serve as the primary CFP for incoming cyber orders, including TASKORDs, FRAGORDs, GENADMINs, and other directives affecting Hanscom AFB and GSUs.
  • Assess scope, applicability, impact, and required actions for each cyber order and coordinate execution across affected organizations.
  • Maintain authoritative tracking of orders, milestones, assignments, and completion status using centralized repositories.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards providing leadership visibility into cyber compliance posture.
  • Aggregate and normalize data from authoritative sources including DISA CORA, ACC guidance, STIG findings, MFRs, IAVM status, and vulnerability reports.
  • Translate technical compliance data into actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver recurring NIPRNet and SIPRNet leadership briefings in coordination with Vulnerability Management, Operations, and CFP teams.
  • Translate complex technical and compliance information into clear, concise executive-level communications.
  • Track action items, decisions, and follow-ups to ensure continuity and accountability.
  • Support COMSEC coordination and asset accountability processes, including TACLANE and cryptographic device tracking.
  • Serve as or support the MADDS Custodian function and coordinate Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) with operations teams.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and dissemination of planned outages and system impacts.
  • Author and maintain official Memorandums for Record documenting TASKORD completion, risk acceptance, and compliance artifacts.
  • Maintain an organized evidence library supporting inspections, audits, and command inquiries.
  • Ensure alignment with Air Force, DoD, and federal cybersecurity directives and instructions.

Requirements
• Active Secret-level DoD security clearance required.
• Security+ certification required.
• Associate degree plus 1+ year of experience; degree may be substituted for an additional 2 years of experience.
