Job description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY REGIONAL FUELS ENGINEER in the FACILITIES ENGINEERING DIVISION of COMNAVREG SE JAX.Qualifications:In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Managing fuels projects (ex: MilCon and SRM) by applying engineering or architectural theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods in environmental, financial, and engineering practices; 2) Planning, designing, constructing large and highly complex projects and fuel systems by utilizing least two or more engineering (Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Petroleum, and Industrial) principles, techniques, and procedures; 3) Analyzing Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), OSHA, NFPA, American Petroleum Institute (API) and other industry standards as they apply to a wide range of engineering requirements and problems; 4) Coordinating and executing multiple construction projects (ex: MilCon/SRM and others) involving complex engineering features and requirements; 5) Exercising full technical authority over fuel services engineering projects and environmental policy by providing subject matter expertise in engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to fuel storage and handling operations, systems, and facilities; 6) Providing generally accepted methods of statistical analysis to determine feasibility of project scope is beneficial.
