OTC Markets Group - New York, NY - Full Time

Base compensation for this role is up to $155,000 annually, depending on experience. In addition, the position is eligible for our discretionary annual bonus and equity program.
What You’ll Do:
  • Requirements analysis and cross-functional collaboration with development teams to define test cases and acceptance criteria
  • Creation and maintenance of test cases across functional, API, and UI testing levels
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and scripts for functional, API, and UI testing; continuously improve test coverage, stability, and reliability
  • Bug lifecycle management, including defect tracking and reporting for both manual and automated test execution
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure test quality and adherence to best practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product test strategy
  • Champion shift-left testing practices by engaging early in the development lifecycle
  • Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution
  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in QA and test automation, and/or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with the ability to apply them in daily operations
  • Experience producing key test assets: test plans, test cases, test reports, and test coverage metrics
  • Experience with software testing types: Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, End-to-End, Data-Driven, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C#
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control systems such as GitHub and Azure DevOps Git
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST)
    •  SQL Server experience
      • T-SQL, DDL & DML
      • Stored procedures, indexes, views
    • Familiarity with web front-end technologies:
      •  HTML, CSS, JavaScript
      • Client-side vs. server-side processing
  • Clear understanding of the following tech/tools:
    • Automation Languages: C#, TypeScript, JavaScript
    • Automation Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, ATATA, NUNIT
    • API Testing: Postman, REST Assured
    • Backend: .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET
    • Database: MS SQL Server
    • Backlog Management & Collaboration: Azure DevOps, Jira
    • Code Repository: GitHub, Azure DevOps Git
    • CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines
