RAS LaVrar is a rapidly expanding creditorsโ€™ rights law firm servicing some of the largest financial institutions in the country. POSITION SUMMARY

Production Specialists at RAS LaVrar facilitate the generation of legal documents and file them with the courts. Individuals working in this position are responsible for operating processes which produce legal documents such as lawsuits, motions, and judgments in batches based on templates. Production Specialists are not expected to draft pleadings.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The following responsibilities are central to the role:

  • Produce legal documents in batches
    1. Assess the results of automations which produce documents nightly.
    2. Navigate the firmโ€™s case management system (CMS).
    3. Assemble packages of documents both digitally and physically.
  • File documents with the courts
    1. Navigate a complex system of e-filing and paper-filing jurisdictions across multiple states.
    2. Deliver physical documents to the mailroom for filing in paper-file jurisdictions.
    3. Submit documents for filing via online portals for filing in e-file jurisdictions.
  • Handle edge cases
    1. Identify cases which fall out of the firmโ€™s production pipeline.
    2. Think critically to ensure cases with unique circumstances do not fall behind.

  • Individuals who excel in this role typically have academic backgrounds in operations management, criminal justice, pre-law, and/or engineering.
  • Experience in a legal office may compensate for education.
  • Individuals who excel in this role typically have industry experience in the fields of collections and/or personal injury law.
