Practice / Office Manager – Oral Surgery Practice
Join an established, highly respected oral surgery practice serving El Dorado Hills and Placerville.
After more than a decade with our practice, our longtime Practice Manager is retiring, creating a rare opportunity to join our close-knit team. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and self-motivated leader who enjoys wearing many hats and takes pride in helping a successful practice run smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone with dental or medical office management experience who wants a three to four-day workweek without stepping back from a real leadership role.
Schedule
  • Approximately 4 days per week
  • Primary work locations: El Dorado Hills and Placerville
Responsibilities
HR & Payroll
  • Hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and annual performance reviews
  • Payroll administration through ADP, including timecard review and benefits tracking
  • Employee discipline documentation and workers' comp incident handling
Bookkeeping & Finance
  • Bill pay, deposits, and daily QuickBooks reconciliation
  • Bank transfers for payroll and monthly account statement prep for the accountant
Scheduling
  • Building assistant and provider schedules across both offices
  • Building master schedule in Google Calendar and translating that into the practice management software with appropriate blocks, open times, etc. 
Patient Accounts
  • Monthly patient statements, collections, and refund processing
  • Resolving patient billing concerns
Inventory & Compliance
  • OSHA compliance documentation, license and certification renewal tracking
  • Vendor management and office maintenance coordination
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of dental or medical practice management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing (CDT coding a plus)
  • Experience with payroll systems (ADP or similar) 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Dropbox, Google Workspace, and practice management software
