As a Portfolio Performance Monitoring Business Analyst with strong data analytics focus, you will help drive the roll out of portfolio analytics and monitoring capability and leverage data to transform how our investment and portfolio teams can evaluate target investments, onboard new assets, identify areas for value creation, and mitigate risks. You will be instrumental in developing data-driven strategies to enhance decision-making and optimize performance across our private market investments
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

We're looking for a Business Analyst to help support digital and AI-driven initiatives across our Real Assets investment platform. You will help enhance how we collect, analyze, and manage data, improve business processes, and support the development of digital and AI capabilities that drive efficiency and insights for our investment teams. Operating at the intersection of private markets and technology, partnering with our investment and portfolio performance teams to turn business priorities into digital and AI-driven solutions. You'll dive deep into processes, uncover opportunities for digital and AI capabilities and identify risks across the asset-management lifecycle working closely with our portfolio performance group.
Salary range for this position: $145,000-$165,000 per year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.   • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally Private Markets
  • Experience defining requirements, creating business requirement documents, functional specs, target operating models and process maps, translating business needs into digital and AI capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for digital enhancement and AI adoption and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Independently apply technical and platform expertise to define, develop and deliver features or stories
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain model outputs or technical requirements to non-technical business stakeholders
  • Effectively build trust with diverse stakeholders, align priorities through clear communication, and proactively resolve issues before they impact delivery
  • Have a strong focus on data analytics and data driven decision making, predictive analytics and automation with experience working with both structured and unstructured data
  • Proven ability to work effectively across technical and business functions, facilitating alignment and driving consensus
  • Proficiency using data analytic tools such as Excel, SQL or BI platforms to interpret data
