What is a volunteer occupational therapy fieldwork student?

Volunteer Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Students are individuals who are studying to become occupational therapists and participate in fieldwork placements as part of their educational program. These students volunteer their time in healthcare or community settings to gain practical, hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. These skills and qualities are crucial for providing effective support, maximizing learning opportunities, and ensuring a positive impact during fieldwork.
