Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of embedded software using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
  • Translate system and software requirements into high-quality Simulink/Stateflow models.
  • Define software architecture and drive Model-Based Development (MBD) best practices.
  • Develop reusable, scalable, and production-ready models compliant with MAAB/JMAAB guidelines.
  • Generate and integrate embedded C code using Embedded Coder.
  • Perform MIL, SIL, PIL, and support HIL validation activities.
  • Conduct model reviews, code reviews, and technical design reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, MISRA C, and customer-specific development processes.
  • Lead technical discussions, resolve complex engineering issues, and support root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with system, software, testing, and integration teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide engineers on MBD methodologies, Simulink, Stateflow, and embedded software development.
  • Drive automation using MATLAB scripting and support CI/CD integration would be addition
  • Manage technical risks, effort estimation, and project deliverables.
  • Interface with customers for technical reviews, requirement clarification, and solution implementation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development efficiency and software quality.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in software development using Model based Development toolchains. Preferred MATLAB/Simulink/State flow.
  • Hands on experience in working in Autosar based application software development for Controls and On board diagnostics.
  • Ability to implement systems engineering principles for simulation activities.
  • Strong technical data analysis, model refinement, and verification skills using experimental and field test data.
  • Should have used Configuration management tools.
  • Expertise in field data analysis and using field data for software simulation.
  • Experience with MIL / SIL / simulation testing.
  • Scripting using M-Script and Python.
  • Should have worked on end-to-end software development workflow.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and teamwork abilities, including mentoring, technical oversight.
  • Added Advantage: Experience in Diesel Exhaust Aftertreatment System Controls and OBD software development.
