Volunteers / Parent Participants
Danbury ISD invites you to become a volunteer and/or parent participant.
According to the Texas Education Code, Section 22.083, Danbury ISD may obtain criminal history record information on an individual who has indicated, in writing, an intention to serve as a volunteer / parent participant.
Completion of the online volunteer application qualifies as written intent to serve as a volunteer / parent participant at Danbury ISD and a release to conduct a criminal background information check. Criminal information obtained is confidential and used only for ensuring student safety.
Steps to become a Danbury ISD Volunteer:
1. Complete an online application using our Employment Opportunities page on the Danbury ISD website at www.danburyisd.org. Select the job opening for Volunteer / Parent Participant - 2022-2023.
2. The review process could take up to 7 business days. Please act in a timely manner if you plan to attend an event on a certain date.
3. Once we approve your online application, your name will appear on the district list. You will receive an e-mail to say that your application has been approved or denied.
4. Volunteers / Parent Participants must re-apply each school year.
