Job description

About the Role:
We are seeking a Level II NDT Field Technician to join our team in North Carolina. As a Level II NDT Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing on various materials and components in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry. Your main objective will be to ensure that all materials and components meet the required standards and specifications. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and accuracy are critical to success. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Level II NDT certification in ultrasonic, magnetic particle, or liquid penetrant testing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in non-destructive testing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level II NDT certification in additional techniques such as radiographic or visual testing.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry.
  • Experience with advanced testing techniques such as phased array ultrasonic testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform non-destructive testing on materials and components using various techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.
  • Interpret and evaluate test results to determine compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports on test results and communicate findings to clients and team members.
