Job Description

Assist in recruitment and screening of volunteers and members

Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with volunteers, proving on-going training and support

Work with the PR and Social Media Consultant to publicize program services

Work with the Auxiliary Board Membership Chair to set and/or update member recruitment goals

Coordinate the Membership Recruitment Committee and its subcommittees

Plan and execute year-long membership recruitment programs 

Encourage current members to take ownership of recruitment efforts and help identify and recruit prospects 

Maintain connections and network within the community to form effective partnerships

Work with the Industrial Organizational and Development Consultant to develop systems for recruitment, training, placement, supervision and evaluation of volunteers

Track volunteer activity and targeted outcome expectations

Work with the Administrative Coordinator to prepare statistics for monthly, quarterly and other reports as requested.

Other duties as assigned.


Ongoing Development Efforts 

Participate in fundraising efforts as needed

Design and implement staff communications programs with the Office Administrator 

Recruit and develop a team of interns to assist with projects

Other duties, consistent with the role, as required from time to time by the Executive Director


Qualifications

A passion for women's economic opportunities.

Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player.

1 year of experience required

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Strong project management skills. Must be able to manage complex projects 

Experience working in a collaborative peer group

Demonstrates a firm knowledge of employee performance plans, human resources, and corrective action policies

Excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Proficient in using technology as a tool for management reporting

Must demonstrate strength in recruiting, hiring, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams. Should be able to empower them by raising their standards of responsibility and allowing a greater span of control for their work on different tasks 

Should be able to formulate creative solutions to apply to business problems
