Job description

Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Data Analytics will lead advanced data initiatives & standardization of KPIs to drive strategic business decisions across eComm, Merchandizing and Operations. This role requires expertise in data sourcing, quality management, and visualization to translate complex data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will collaborate across functions to develop data strategies, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Leveraging analytical tools and methodologies, this position supports continuous improvement and innovation while maintaining high standards of data governance and integrity to enhance operational effectiveness and customer value.
About the team:
The Data Analytics team at Walmart International delivers actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions to support eCommerce, Operations, and Merchandising across multiple markets. The team develops and automates dashboards, ensures data accuracy, and analyzes pricing and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions. Collaborating closely with merchants and market leaders, they standardize reporting and optimize data models using advanced tools like Power BI and BigQuery. The team also manages data governance and vendor coordination, driving consistent metrics and enabling data-driven decision-making to enhance business performance globally. What you'll do...
  • Identify and evaluate data sources to ensure alignment with business requirements and quality standards.
  • Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytics and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Develop and implement data visualization strategies to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Lead data quality management initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide team members on analytics methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Oversee the application of data governance policies to ensure compliance and secure data access.

  • Extensive experience in data analytics, big data technologies, and statistical modeling to drive business insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced data visualization tools to create compelling, actionable reports.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
