Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
As Senior Manager, Data Analytics, you will lead the development and execution of advanced analytics strategies to drive data-informed business decisions. This role requires expertise in data sourcing, quality management, and visualization to translate complex data into actionable insights. You will collaborate across functions to align analytics initiatives with organizational goals, mentor team members, and promote continuous improvement through innovative tools and methodologies. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-impact solutions that enhance operational performance and support Walmart’s commitment to excellence and integrity.
About the team:
The Earnings Excellence Finance Data Analytics team functions as the operations analytics hub for Walmart’s EE Finance organization, enabling data-driven decisions across the network. The team delivers end-to-end visibility into Driver Earnings and Disbursements through actionable insights supporting compliance and regulatory needs. Key responsibilities include developing dashboards to monitor KPIs, providing advanced analytics and optimization support to finance and other functions, delivering ad-hoc analyses for leadership, and driving analytics for pilots and strategic initiatives. This team plays a critical role in guiding data-backed recommendations to support operational performance and future growth.
What you'll do:
·       Lead analytics and reporting across Driver Earnings, Disbursements, Finance Operations, Tax, Controls, and Compliance
·       Develop and standardize Metrics That Matter reporting for leadership, operations, compliance, and risk visibility.
·       Support executive and operational reporting that shows what changed, why, and where actions needed.
·      Lead data quality, governance, and metric standardization efforts.
·      Turn unclear business problems into practical analytics solutions
·       Lead and coordinate UAT for Spark Driver initiatives, partnering with business, product, and tech teams to align testing, track issues, and support
·       Provide ad-hoc analysis and leadership-ready insights for incidents, escalations, and strategic initiatives
·       Mentor team members and promote analytics best practices.
·       Reduce manual reporting by automation, reusable data
What you'll bring:
·       Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, finance, operations, or a related field.
·       Strong SQL, Python, BigQuery, and dashboarding skills (Tableau or Power BI).
·       Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and KPI standardization.
·       Ability to turn business needs into scalable data and reporting solutions.
·       Comfort working through ambiguity and defining analytics problems.
·       Experience building dashboards and insights for leadership, operations, compliance, or risk visibility.
