Job description

This is a tipped position within the tip pool. Starting hourly rate is $14.00 per hour, plus tips = average of $16.00 - $20.00 per hour


Job Purpose:
You’re the link between the kitchen and the dining room. As the Expo, you’re the final set of eyes on every plate before it hits the table—making sure each dish looks great, meets our standards, and gets to guests fast and fresh.

What You’ll Do:

  • Keep the line moving—communicate clearly with both kitchen staff and servers.
  • Check plating, portion sizes, and presentation to make sure everything is just right.
  • Garnish and finish dishes when needed before they go out.
  • Keep an eye on ticket times and help the kitchen stay on pace.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free expo station at all times.
  • Follow sanitation standards like a pro.
  • In some locations, assist with to-go orders and answer phones when needed.

  • You’ve worked in restaurants before and know how to keep cool under pressure.
  • Obsessed with detail—you notice everything.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing the entire shift
  • Frequent bending and reaching
  • Occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs
  • Lots of talking—both with the kitchen and service teams
