Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Site Server summary: Receive food deliveries, store appropriately, heat meals for Meals on Wheels delivery, and assist in packing deliveries. Coordinate, prepare/serve lunch meal at assigned congregate nutrition meal site; clean and wash equipment used in the preparation and serving of lunch; maintain a safe, clean,and sanitary work area; establish good rapport with senior center participants and volunteers; complete weekly and monthly paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Driver summary: Pack and Deliver meals to homebound senior citizens on assigned route in New London & Windham County, and complete gate-keeping duties. Return and clean coolers, and delivery bags at end of route.
Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable, insured vehicle for daily travel, and current Connecticut Driver's License.
  • Experience with senior population preferred.
  • Must attain ServSafe Certification within six months.
