Job description

Description

Are you ready to be a positive force in teens' lives while building real-world experience? Join our Teen Program Team and help create an awesome, supportive space where teens can grow, lead, and chase their goals. If you're passionate, upbeat, and enjoy working with youth - this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Flexible hours available Monday through Friday (one day or multiple - it's up to you!)
During the school year: Part-time between 2pm-8pm
During the summer: Full-day options available 8am-4pm (occasional evening opportunities)

What You'll Do

As a Teen Program Volunteer, you'll help bring high-energy, meaningful programs to life - from leadership clubs and college/career prep to fun daily activities that keep teens engaged and growing. You'll work with our program team to make the space welcoming, safe, and full of good vibes.

Your impact will include:

  • Helping create and run cool programs in areas like Academic Success, Leadership, College & Career Prep, and Healthy Habits
  • Leading or supporting daily teen activities (think: teen nights, workshops, group projects, community connections)
  • Encouraging teens to try new things and build confidence
  • Keeping  our teen space organized, safe, and fun
  • Supporting  staff with light supervision and activity planning

What Else You Might Jump Into (Only if you're up for it!)

  • Helping  with special events or theme nights
  • Assisting  with field trips
  • Pitching  in with light cleaning or organizing

Requirements

 What You'll Gain

This volunteer experience gives you:

  • Resume-boosting leadership & youth development skills
  • Awesome teamwork experience
  • Real, meaningful impact in your community
  • Connections with other volunteers & professionals
  • Opportunities to run programs that match your interests
  • A fun, fulfilling place to spend your afternoons!

You must be at least 18 years old. As part of our commitment to safety, a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and national background check will be conducted, which includes a review of the sex offender registry and verification of social security number.  The process includes an interview, reference checks and 1.5 hours of online training.
