Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob Description

The Warehouse Associate in distribution plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for efficiently picking orders based on purchase orders, packing them with care, and ensuring they are ready for shipment. Your role will also involve sorting, counting, and folding clothing merchandise, moving boxes and materials throughout the warehouse, and loading and unloading shipments. Additionally, you will assist with inventory control and stock organization, all while meeting productivity and accuracy standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders based on purchase orders and pack them accurately.
• Sort, count, and fold clothing merchandise with precision.
• Move boxes and materials efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments safely and promptly.
• Assist with inventory control and stock organization.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing and general labor.
• Proficiency in using an RF scanner and RF gun.
• Ability to handle materials and use a pallet jack.
• Skilled in order picking, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to perform repetitive motions such as bending, folding, and carrying.
• Strength to lift up to 40lbs.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse environment with first shift hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Special PPE, including gloves, masks, and sanitizers, is provided to ensure your safety. You'll be part of a team that is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pembroke Park, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
