Your role at Clorox:

The Clorox Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager Category Procurement: Folding Cartons, Litho Laminate, and Corrugated Packaging Boxes to join our Global Procurement team. This leader will manage strategic categories within Clorox's packaging portfolio and collaborate with cross-functional partners to create, capture, and protect value. Experience leveraging AI and digital analytics to enhance procurement decision-making, supplier performance, and category strategy is strongly preferred.

In this role, you will:

Category Strategy Development & Execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy aligned with Clorox's business goals, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, innovation, sustainability, and digital enablement.
  • Identify and assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive dynamics within the paper-based packaging space.
  • Utilize AI-driven market intelligence tools and predictive analytics to enhance forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Supplier Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply, optimize cost, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews with key strategic suppliers, ensuring service, quality, ESG, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Partner with suppliers to explore innovation opportunities, developing differentiated solutions that support Clorox's growth and brand equity.
Cost Management & Value Optimization
  • Lead cost-management initiatives to deliver annual savings goals through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and negotiations.
  • Manage and optimize category spend, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Business Unit teams to track performance against budget targets and proactively mitigate risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with R&D, Packaging, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on product requirements and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with Sustainability teams to drive initiatives supporting Clorox's environmental goals and sustainable sourcing practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing insights on market trends, supplier innovation, and best practices,

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of proven experience leading complex, multi-site or global procurement categories, ideally within packaging or consumer goods.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Deep understanding of folding cartons, litho-laminate, and broader paper-based packaging technologies.
  • Strong negotiation expertise, including structuring long-term contracts and pricing frameworks.
  • Excellent supplier relationship management skills with a history of developing collaborative partnerships.
  • Digital and AI literacy, with handson experience applying generative AI, advanced analytics, and digital procurement tools to enhance category strategy, supplier performance management, cost modeling, and data driven procurement decision making.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost modeling, and understanding commodity drivers.
  • Robust project management skills with success delivering cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to translate technical packaging needs into sourcing strategies that balance performance and cost.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed organization and influencing without authority.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

-Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200

-Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200

-Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200
