Environmental Project Manager (USEPA Superfund Site)
Corinth, VT | 6-8 Week with the possibility for extension
Travelers are encouraged to apply! Eligible travelers will receive per diem.
Responsibilities
  • Manage USEPA Superfund project activities to ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate field investigations, environmental sampling, remediation, and contractor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and HAZWOPER health and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and review project plans, technical reports, and regulatory documentation.
  • Communicate project status with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project risks, quality, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Top Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting or managing USEPA Superfund, environmental remediation, or hazardous waste projects.
  • Working knowledge of CERCLA, EPA regulations, and OSHA HAZWOPER requirements.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification

Physical Requirements
This is an active field position requiring daily oversight of construction activities.
Candidates must be able to:
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Climb ladders and work at elevated heights.
  • Enter confined spaces when necessary.
  • Work on uneven terrain and active construction sites.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
