Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) Dallas, TX Overview: Our growing Home Health team is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our patients within the Dallas area. This role involves managing patient cases, providing comprehensive skilled nursing care, and care coordination. Position Offers: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Rotating weekend coverage every other weekend preferred, with two weekdays off during the rotation Competitive pay: $43-$48/hour (DOE) Temporary assignment with strong potential to transition into a long-term position based on mutual interest Competitive salary opportunity upon conversion Full benefits package upon conversion to long-term placement: Health, dental, and vision insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage 403(b) Retirement savings plan Paid Time Off (PTO), Sick Time Off (STO), and paid holidays Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care within both facility and home-based settings Complete Start of Care, Recertification, Follow-Up, Resumption of Care, and Discharge visits Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including Oasis assessments, and coordinate individualized care plans Manage skilled nursing needs including PICC line care, lab draws, wound care, wound vac management, and catheter care Ensure documentation is completed within 24-48 hours, preferably within 24 hours, using Kinnser EMR Collaborate with providers, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes Provide high-quality care to a primarily geriatric patient population Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas Previous Home Health experience required, with proficiency in Kinnser EMR Oasis assessment experience required Current TB clearance, valid driver's license, and BLS certification required Strong clinical experience with wound care, PICC lines, lab draws, wound vacs (certification preferred), and catheter care Why Join Us: Join a growing Home Health team providing meaningful, high-quality care to a primarily geriatric patient population in Dallas.
