What is a volunteer electrical material handler?

Volunteer Electrical Material Handlers are individuals who assist with the organization, transportation, and distribution of electrical materials at worksites or community projects. Their responsibilities often include receiving shipments, sorting and inventorying materials, and ensuring the correct items are available for electricians and other workers. As volunteers, they typically work under the supervision of a project coordinator or licensed electrician and may help support nonprofit initiatives or disaster relief efforts. No formal electrical training is usually required, but attention to safety and basic organizational skills are important.
