Job description

If you are interested in participating as a volunteer, would like to become a member of the STAR Clergy, or your company/organization would like to particapate in our Community Work Service(CWS) program please submit a letter of interest/resume and any licensure/credentials that are appropriate.
ABOUT STAR
STAR is a minimum security, community based correctional facility (CBCF) located in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. The facility first broke ground January 5, 2000 and strives to further its mission of public safety by providing a safe alternative to prison for nonviolent felony offenders. STAR serves nine of the surrounding counties including Adams, Brown, Clinton, Highland, Lawrence, Pike, Pickaway, Ross and Scioto.

Our mission is to enhance public safety by providing the four phases of residential treatment.
STRUCTURE - through close management of offender time, energy and movement.
THERAPY - as the focus of intensive individualized, educational, vocational, chemical dependency programming.
ADVOCACY - for all the Community Justice stakeholders.
RESTORATION - as a result of our synergy.
