THE OPPORTUNITY


JOB TITLE: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)


REPORTS TO: GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)



JOB SUMMARY

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for Ocenco, Inc.'s overall financial strategy, financial management, and administrative operations. The CFO provides strategic leadership for all domestic and international financial activities, including accounting, treasury, tax, risk management, banking relationships, and legal oversight.

The CFO will partner closely with ownership and executive leadership to support profitable growth, optimize global operations, enhance reporting capabilities, manage risk, and ensure the organization's long-term financial health.

Given the company's international footprint, the CFO will play a critical role in managing global financial structures, international tax planning, foreign currency exposure, cross-border compliance, and consolidated reporting across multiple entities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Executive Partnership

  • Serve as strategic financial advisor to the CEO, ownership, and executive leadership team.
  • Develop and execute global financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall strategy & business objectives.
  • This includes full accountability for delivery against profit and loss, as well as performance analysis and dynamic interventions to achieve fiscal year financial targets.
  • Lead and develop high-performing finance and administrative teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to ownership and leadership.

Financial Management & Administration

  • Oversee all accounting, finance, treasury, tax, audit, and internal control functions.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable international accounting requirements.
  • Manage external audits, tax advisors, and financial consultants.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all business units.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Manage corporate insurance, risk management, and compliance programs.
  • Streamline financial operations and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across all regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders across departments to develop a near and long-term strategy, building a wholistic roadmap for delivery.
  • Champion the adoption of innovative financial technologies and practices to drive growth and efficiency.

International Finance & Global Operations


  • Transfer Pricing Policy
  • Develop, implement, and maintain global transfer pricing policies that comply with OECD guidelines and local country regulations.
  • Coordinate annual transfer pricing documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with external tax advisors to mitigate transfer pricing risk and support tax authority audits.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure arm's-length compliance across global entities.


  • International Tax Optimization Strategy
  • Develop and execute tax-efficient global operating structures.
  • Evaluate international tax planning opportunities while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Coordinate global tax reporting and compliance activities.
  • Monitor changes in international tax laws, Pillar Two regulations, BEPS initiatives, and other global tax developments.
  • Partner with external advisors to minimize global effective tax rates while managing compliance risk.


  • Currency Exchange & Foreign Exchange Risk Management
  • Establish and manage corporate foreign currency exchange policies.
  • Monitor foreign currency exposure and implement hedging strategies where appropriate.
  • Evaluate foreign exchange impacts on profitability, pricing, and cash flow.
  • Develop reporting processes to monitor currency risks and exposures globally.
  • Collaborate with international banking partners to optimize foreign exchange transactions.


  • Consolidated International Reporting
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of domestic and international entities.
  • Ensure consistency of accounting policies and reporting standards across jurisdictions.
  • Oversee intercompany eliminations, consolidations, and global financial reporting.
  • Develop global dashboards and reporting tools to improve executive visibility.
  • Drive financial systems integration and reporting standardization across all entities.


  • Consolidated International Banking & Treasury
  • Manage all domestic and international banking relationships.
  • Develop global cash management and treasury strategies.
  • Optimize worldwide liquidity and capital allocation.
  • Oversee cross-border cash movements and repatriation strategies.
  • Negotiate international credit facilities, banking agreements, and treasury services.
  • Establish controls and governance surrounding international cash management activities.


Strategy, Planning & Growth


  • Develop long-range financial plans supporting strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate acquisitions, divestitures, strategic partnerships, and international expansion opportunities.
  • Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for M&A activities.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario planning for major strategic initiatives.
  • Support pricing strategies, product profitability analysis, and market expansion decisions.
  • Evaluate capital investment opportunities and resource allocation priorities.


Capital, Treasury & Risk Management


  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and investments to ensure sufficient capital to support operations and growth; identify and mitigate financial risks across the organization to ensure financial stability and compliance.
  • Manage corporate capital structure and financing strategy.
  • Maintain relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions.
  • Negotiate and manage debt agreements and covenant compliance.
  • Lead enterprise risk management initiatives.
  • Oversee cybersecurity, insurance, and business continuity planning from a financial perspective.
  • Protect company assets through effective governance and internal controls.


Corporate Governance & Compliance


  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards in partnership with the subsidiaries’ accounting teams.
  • Ensure fiduciary responsibility and financial integrity throughout the organization.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and governance practices.
  • Support ownership and board-level reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulatory obligations.
  • Promote ethical business practices and transparency.
  • Serve as the primary financial liaison to the Board of Directors, providing clear financial reports, strategic insights into opportunities and risks, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years serving as CFO or senior finance executive.
  • Experience leading finance functions within a privately held company.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost accounting.
  • Experience managing multi-entity domestic and international operations.
  • Proven experience with global consolidations and international banking relationships.
