JOB TITLE: AWS Developer JOB LOCATION: Quincy MA WAGE RANGE*: $60-$65 JOB NUMBER: ITS87-EHS-FY27-AWS DEVELOPER – 001 JOB DESCRIPTION The Sr. AWS developer's primary role is to support OLTSS initiative to design and develop a serverless application that enables providers to submit an online CIR form and seamlessly transmit the files to our document management system (EDM). The solution captures and stores metadata during upload sessions in a PostgreSQL RDS database for audit and compliance purposes. MassHealth is looking for motivated individuals with deep technical expertise in AWS that seek-out public service as an opportunity, gain valuable experience, and give back to the community. This position is anticipated to be a minimum six-month engagement with the possibility of being extended for a longer term. Job Duties: (Detailed list of Responsibilities) Responsible for the analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation in the development and maintenance of critical MassHealth applications Accountable for full systems development life cycle including system architecture documents; technical design documents, release management guide, deployment plan documents, and other technical artifacts Prepare SQL scripts for modifying and maintaining data. Write optimized queries, views for integration with other applications Document and maintain code using change control software Support cross-functional projects and integrated business solutions to enhance stakeholder capabilities and efficiencies Work with cross-functional teams to manage projects, create statement of work and communicate progress on goals to both technical and non-technical groups Adhere to established Commonwealth policy and procedures Equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities * While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
