Job Description
Who we are:
Lunewave Inc. is a privately held technology company developing disruptive antenna and radar sensor technology by leading experts in millimeter wave frequency engineering.  Our products are geared towards a variety of markets including automotive, telecommunications, aerospace, and research for applications such as autonomous transportation, 5G delivery, and drones.
Description Summary:
The Sensor Validation Engineer will have experience validating high bandwidth sensors using rigorous data collection and analysis methods.  This employee will work closely with the algorithm and software teams to design and execute tests for evaluating the radar sensors performance and reliability.  They will be expected to perform root cause data analysis and generate cohesive test reports and documentation.  Data collection is done outside on vehicles. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or physics
  • Experience in data analysis, including statistics
  • Experience using MATLAB, Python or similar for data analysis
  • Experience presenting complicated topics to high level stakeholders
  • Validate driver’s license
  • Comfortable manipulating large multi-dimensional data sets
  • Understanding of point clouds and point cloud structure
  • Understanding of the physical process in which radar operates (nice to have)
  • Hands on experience with radar, lidar, camera or IMU (nice to have)
  • High-level technical writing skills.
  • Automotive experience highly desired.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
