Job description

Volunteer Engagement Manager – Grow LA's Most Mission-Driven Volunteer Corps Company: All Seniors Foundation Location: Los Angeles, CA About Us:

All Seniors Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit committed to improving the quality of life for older adults across Los Angeles County. We provide medical care, in‑home support, hospice and palliative care, cancer navigation, and 200+ other free services to qualifying seniors. Every service is delivered at no cost, regardless of insurance status.

Role Overview:

As Volunteer Engagement Manager, you will design and grow our volunteer program — currently 100+ active volunteers supporting friendly visiting, transportation, technology help, and event‑based programs. You will recruit, train, retain, and recognize volunteers across LA County.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the volunteer‑program strategy: recruitment targets, role design, retention goals
  • Recruit volunteers through community partnerships, university programs, faith communities, and corporate engagement
  • Onboard and train new volunteers including background checks, orientation, and role‑specific training
  • Match volunteers with seniors based on language, interests, and geographic proximity
  • Coordinate volunteer recognition events, anniversary acknowledgments, and impact stories
  • Track volunteer hours, retention rates, and impact data for grant reporting
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years volunteer management or community outreach experience
  • Strong relationship‑building, public‑speaking, and event‑coordination skills
  • CVA (Certified in Volunteer Administration) certification preferred or in progress
  • Bachelor's in nonprofit management, social work, communications, or related field
  • Bilingual ability a major plus (Spanish, Korean, Armenian, Mandarin)
What we Offer:
  • Competitive salary ($58,000–$80,000)
  • CVA certification funded
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision
  • Hybrid + community‑based work
  • Direct impact on hundreds of senior lives through volunteer relationships
Our Commitment to Inclusive Hiring

All Seniors Foundation is an equal‑opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of every background, identity, and lived experience. Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Korean, Armenian, Mandarin, Russian, and other Los Angeles‑area languages) are especially encouraged to apply.

What to Expect on the Job

Your week will mix recruiting outreach, volunteer training sessions, matching meetings, and recognition planning. The role rewards warmth, organization, and the ability to make every volunteer feel valued. Your work multiplies our impact far beyond staff capacity.

Why Work with All Seniors Foundation

All Seniors Foundation has grown over the years because the seniors and families we serve trust us — and that trust is built by the team behind every program. Joining us means working alongside committed professionals, having a stable mission‑driven role, and seeing the real impact of your work every single week.
