Job Description:
Parnassus Preparatory School is currently accepting applications for a full-time Elementary teacher for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. Full-time (1.00 FTE) We Are Different! We model for our students a professional environment and a high level of expectation. You will not only enjoy seeing your students flourish but also your career enriched. This position entails engaging scholars in the foundational learning of core subjects. An elementary (grammar) teacher facilitates this process through direct instruction, mnemonic devices, and the use of songs and chants to assist scholars in retaining key information.
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • An appropriate MN teaching license is required
  • Ability and willingness to teach the classical trivium and sequence model as defined by the school
  • The ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
  • Conviction in the values of a rigorous liberal arts education
  • Ability to maintain an orderly classroom

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching experience preferred but not required
  • An appropriate MN teaching license is preferred but not required
  • Tier 3 or 4 License preferred but not required

Compensation:
Pay range: $45,150 - $81,375
