Job description

For financially vulnerable families in crisis, LevittQuinn Family Law Center is the leading provider of legal services and support delivering timely, accessible, and innovative family law services. Our team of dedicated lawyers, legal assistants, and volunteers stabilize families every day, securing orders about custody and support, returning abducted children to their custodial parent, and facilitating adoption of children in need of a safe and permanent home.

LevittQuinn is hiring a Staff Attorney to help support this work.

Essential responsibilities of the Staff Attorney may include:

  • Direct representation and advocacy
  • Interview and counsel clients with family law, adoption, and guardianship issues
  • Participate in community education and outreach efforts
  • Actively contribute to program development
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • Strong commitment to LevittQuinn’s mission
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in both English and in Spanish, is essential
  • Knowledge of family law issues, including child custody, domestic abuse, parentage, and support
  • Although this position is geared towards newer lawyers (2 - 5 years), courtroom experience is a plus
  • Ability to train and supervise interns and volunteers
  • Demonstrated collaborative work style
  • Commitment to professional growth and leadership development


Compensation: $68,000 to $76,000 annually depending on experience. Generous benefits package and hybrid work environment.
