Job description

Volta Group is seeking an experienced Land Agent to support active infrastructure and energy development projects across Nebraska immediately. We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who thrives in the field, understands landowner engagement, and can confidently move projects forward.
Key Responsibilities:

  •  Conduct landowner outreach, negotiations, and relationship management for energy/infrastructure development projects 
  •  Secure site control through option agreements, easements, leases, and related land agreements 
  •  Perform title review support and ownership research as needed 
  •  Coordinate directly with internal project managers, title teams, and client stakeholders 
  •  Maintain accurate activity tracking, reporting, and documentation 
  •  Represent Volta Group professionally in the field and within local communities 
  •  At least 50 percent minimum travel throughout the assigned Nebraska project areas as needed 
Qualifications:

  •  Previous experience as a Land Agent, ROW Agent, or similar land services role 
  •  Experience in renewable energy, transmission, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred 
  •  Strong negotiation and communication skills 
  •  Ability to work independently while managing deadlines and deliverables 
  •  Familiarity with land records, easement agreements, and landowner negotiations 
  •  Nebraska experience and existing regional relationships are a plus 
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office; GIS/Land management platform experience is a bonus
