Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our client. This job is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, repairing machinery, and assisting with facility-related maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operations.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on production equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and recommend repairs
  • Utilize voltmeters, hand tools, and shop equipment to diagnose and repair machinery
  • Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately
  • Perform general facility maintenance and property upkeep
  • Complete minor plumbing repairs and facility-related maintenance tasks
  • Perform interior painting and basic building repairs as needed
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility
  • Support facility improvement projects and preventative maintenance programs
  • Assist production and manufacturing teams as needed
  • Work closely with supervisors and operators to resolve equipment issues quickly
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance protocols
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report hazards immediately
  • Properly use required PPE and safety equipment

What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience required
  • Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
  • Experience working with production equipment and facility maintenance
  • 480-volt electrical experience preferred
  • PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to use voltmeters and general maintenance tools
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, twist, climb, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
