Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach
The Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach supports the Head Coach in the leadership and administration of the Men's
Volleyball program. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily practice planning, technical skill instruction, and the
recruitment of high-level student-athletes to fulfill the program and vision.
Essential Functions
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes who align with university standards.
  • Assist in the development and execution of technical training plans for team and individual player growth.
  • Lead specific position groups during practice sessions as directed by the Head Coach.
  • Conduct scouting and film analysis of opponents to assist in match strategy preparation.
  • Support student-athlete academic progress and ensure compliance with NAIA/University regulations.
  • Manage equipment inventory and assist with travel logistics for away competitions.
  • Transport and supervise student-athletes during travel trips. Periodic driving of University vehicles to and from practice and competitions, and athletic sponsored events
  • Handles other projects and tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements
  • Previous playing or coaching experience at the collegiate or elite club level.
  • Strong knowledge of (sport) technical skills and tactical systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and recruiting skills.
  • Valid California Drivers License, Insurance and clean driving record
  • CPR Certification
  • Please list the preferred qualifications for this position:
  • Collegiate coaching experience at the NAIA or NCAA level.
  • Experience with Hudl, (Sport specific video/editing system(s)), or similar video analysis software.
