Job Description:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Engineering, Computer Science
  • Generally, requires 8-12 years related experience
  • Operations focused support, analysis and design documentation based on Product Requests and Requirements
  • Technical learning and support of higher-level engineers, leadership, training, project management teams
  • Support Product Engineering with Systems architecture planning, system implementation guidelines, and engineering guidelines
  • Support roll out of scripting, tools and testing for VoIP application integration, operational tools and engineering projects.
  • Support & Coordinate Lab testing, design, and architecture work
  • Support Product engineering teams on Application and network architecture in the arena of IMS, BroadSoft, and Emergency Services
  • Interface and Support of Product Development technology and feature introduction from an Operations perspective in the area of SIP, SRP and SBC NENA I2,I3 product suites
  • Production Operations testing of new CPE, applications, services, etc. and support of Test Quality Assurance (labs)
  • Interoperability and interconnection testing in the Production environment
  • Technical Leadership and training of entry level engineers in triage and trouble-shooting, architecture and best practices
  • Author & Update Operations guidelines and design documentation (QoS, performance, reliability, security, scalability, VOIP, etc.)
