Join our dynamic team as an Audio Producer, where you will transform ideas into captivating audio experiences that resonate with our audience!
Under the direction of the Audio Production Supervisor, the Audio Producer using skilled production techniques, creates professional level audio for both external and internal use. The Audio Producer works independently to conceptualize, write, and produce audio pieces that help promote the messaging of Ministry partners, events, and localized public affairs segments.

This role will be fully onsite at our Franklin, TN Headquarters

Here's just some of what you will be doing daily...
  • Complete full cycle of spot production projects to include originating creative ideas, project planning, copywriting, and assembling audio elements (voicing and/or working with voice talent).
  • Conceptualize, write, and produce professional, network-quality content. Complete daily copywriting and audio production including, but not limited to, conceptualizing, voicing and assembling of audio pieces as they relate to Ministry partners.
  • Work closely with internal and external clients incorporating feedback and copy points to create audio that effectively communicates and connects to target audiences. Ensure proactive and clear communication with clients on expectations, vision of projects, target audience, and desired outcome.
  • Work with Audio Production Supervisor to ensure that spots move effectively through the production workflow, making suggestions and adjustments as necessary to ensure that each spot is appropriately produced.
  • Utilize vCreative PPO website for production order workflow, as well as sites such as OneDrive and SharePoint for audio file delivery, upload, and download.
  • Utilize Pro Tools and/or Adobe Audition recording/editing software for audio projects that include complex use of multiple tracks, audio plug-ins, compression, EQ, automation, and other professional features, techniques, and practices that include and that go beyond a voiceover and music track. Projects should contain "high production value", continue to raise the bar, and show consistency in meeting departmental standards. Utilize Adobe Audition for audio finalizing and metadata entry prior to upload.
  • Maintain professional competency, knowledge, and skills necessary to effectively perform job duties by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training. Specifically, stay "current" and informed with audio trends, with particular emphasis on Millennial, GenZ, and Alpha mindsets.
  • Maintain courteous, positive, and efficient interaction between programming, underwriting, traffic and production departments as well as Ministry partners.
  • Works as a self-starter, consistently moving the production line forward.

  • Associates degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of digital multi-track audio production experience, preferably within the broadcast media industry.
  • Full cycle production experience to include concept origination and planning, copywriting, voicing, and production.
  • Hands on experience using Pro Tools, vCreative, Adobe Audition, RSC Zetta and other software programs as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and produce high quality audio content.
  • Local and/or national voiceover experience helpful.
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to keep pace in a changing work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build trust and value others.
