General Description:

Responsible for developing training solutions based on organizational needs and identified weaknesses. Design, create, deliver, and manage learning solutions for the Company.

Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for full-cycle recruitment, management, and development of assigned team. Includes performance management, setting priorities, developing work plans and schedules, and approval of timecards and expense reports.
  • Develop and prepare training materials and update as needed.
  • Manage various course design projects as the subject matter expert (SME). Collaborate with other process owners or SMEs to create relevant content for internal training. Includes courseware and certification programs.
  • Lead the delivery of training programs and sessions in a variety of formats. Includes in-classroom, web-based, technical materials, and blended learning environments.
  • Design and develop dynamic instructional interactions and simulations to create engaging course content.
  • Evaluate existing training solutions. Utilize improvement methodologies to enhance them.
  • Write and edit audio voice-over scripts for e-learning as needed.
  • Provide recommendations to make courses and instructional design more efficient and effective.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 5 years + relevant insurance industry experience.
  • College degree in related field preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of Wholesale or Retail Insurance and office automation applications.
  • Working knowledge of internet-based programs and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills. Ability to drive results.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex information to a wide variety of audiences. Includes small and large group settings with employees, mid-level managers, and senior leaders.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal and state labor laws.
