Lead Vocational Rehabilitation / Pre-ETS Consultant

Pay: $23.76/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
Location: Kosciusko County and the surrounding counties

Position Summary

The Lead Vocational Rehabilitation/Pre-ETS Consultant supports both adult vocational rehabilitation services and school-based transition programs. This role serves as a mentor and trainer for staff while also maintaining a small caseload of participants.

This is a non-supervisory leadership role focused on staff support, training, documentation quality, compliance, and program guidance.

Occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed based on participant schedules, training needs, or program events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and onboard new Vocational Rehabilitation staff
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members
  • Assist staff with billing, documentation, and service compliance
  • Conduct quality checks on case notes and service documentation
  • Support agency compliance with Vocational Rehabilitation standards
  • Maintain a small participant caseload
  • Collaborate with leadership on workflow and program improvements
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for staff across programs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals with ID/DD required
  • Minimum 2 years of Vocational Rehabilitation experience required
  • Strong knowledge of VR policies, billing, documentation, and service delivery
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance required
  • Must maintain HIPAA and FERPA confidentiality standards

Work Environment

This role works in office settings, schools, community locations, employer sites, and participant workplaces. Frequent local travel is required.
