Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) is seeking a Training Coordinator that provides logistical and administrative support for the training, education, and quality functions serving the Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) affordable housing portfolio of 235+ properties and 13,600+ housing units in thirty-seven (37) states and Puerto Rico.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Location: in the local area of DMV hybrid (3 days in 2 remote)

Pay Range: $67,000 - $76,000 based on experience

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

• Five (5) years of administrative and/or project management experience.

• Knowledge of learning management systems and online learning required; experience coordinating and hosting live online webinars preferred.

• Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC programs desirable.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Training & Event Coordination:

• Serve as logistical and administrative support for the VOANS housing training track at annual meetings, the housing operations learning series, and Housing Operations Shared Leadership Network meetings, including meeting planning and material preparation.

• Coordinate and host live online webinars and virtual training sessions, including scheduling, registration, technology setup, facilitation support, and attendance tracking.

• Track training completion and prepare reports on participation, compliance with required training, and program effectiveness.

 LMS & Customer Service Hotline:

• Manage Housing Quality & Education technology tools, including the VOANS Housing learning management system (LMS) and the Customer Service Hotline.

• Maintain LMS course catalogs, user accounts, enrollments, and completion records; troubleshoot user issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.

• Coordinate customer service requests from residents and other external parties requiring specialized support; manage, follow up on, and report out issues that are delicate in nature to the Director of Housing Quality & Education, Affiliates, and the Office of Legal Affairs, as appropriate.

Standards, Policies & Communications:

• Assist the Director of Housing Quality & Education in the development of training standards, policies, and procedures, and disseminate information to housing personnel on a timely basis.

• Support the monitoring of standards and policy acknowledgment across the portfolio, maintaining accurate records of distribution and receipt.

Network Support & Special Projects:

• Provide staff support to the Housing Operations Shared Leadership Network (Network Chair, committees, and the Director, Housing Quality & Education), including preparation of agendas, meeting materials, and minutes.

• Manage project implementation and other special requests as assigned by the Director, Housing Quality & Education.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director, Housing Quality & Education.
