The Role

Your role
Step into the engine room of enterprise technology, where every decision you make can shape how a customer's systems perform today - and scale for tomorrow. You'll dive deep into complex infrastructure environments, solving challenging technical problems, designing seamless integrations and ensuring systems run reliably at every level. Your expertise across networks, endpoints and mainframes, paired with a knack for logical problem-solving and clear documentation, will guide projects from concept to execution. Your solutions will make a real impact that customers notice and remember.
In this role, you'll balance hands-on delivery with long-term strategic planning. From analyzing issues and testing solutions to automating processes and integrating across platforms, your work will touch every layer of IT infrastructure. You'll collaborate with Architects, Technicians and Project Managers, gaining broad exposure and continuous opportunities to grow your skills and influence.
What you will do
Analyze and Solve

  • Diagnose complex issues across servers, networks, cloud environments and systems to identify root causes

  • Recommend solutions that balance technical feasibility, timelines and customer priorities

  • Test, refine and automate processes to improve reliability, efficiency and repeatability

  • Assess risks proactively and implement strategies to prevent disruptions


Design and Integrate

  • Plan end-to-end infrastructure solutions across platforms and technologies

  • Integrate systems in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments to ensure seamless operation

  • Automate workflows and processes to streamline delivery and reduce errors

  • Document architectures and procedures for hand-offs, knowledge sharing and operational continuity


Collaborate and Deliver

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Architects, Project Managers and Technicians

  • Drive project delivery from initiation to completion with attention to quality and timelines

  • Communicate technical solutions clearly to customers and stakeholders

  • Build customer confidence by delivering tangible, high-impact results


Grow and Advance

  • Expand technical expertise across cloud platforms, enterprise IT systems and emerging technologies

  • Earn certifications and qualifications while applying them on real projects

Who You Are

Required Skills:

  • Deep expertise within specific VMware technology areas (e.g., , cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)

  • Enterprise IT application experience

  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain

  • Required to support our managed services steady state environment.

Compensation:

The base compensation range for the position in the U.S. is -
$100,080 to $190,080 based on a full-time schedule reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Kyndryl, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, geography, relevant job-related skills, education and experience, certification and licenses, internal pay equity, and market and business consideration. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California (San Francisco Bay Area): $120,120 to $228,000

California (All Other): $110,040 to $209,040

Colorado:$100,080 to $190,080

Massachusetts/ Virginia: $100,080 to $209,040

New York City:$120,120 to $228,000

Washington:$110,040 to $209,040

Washington DC: $110,040 to $209,040

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
