Job description

Position Description: Do you have a passion and desire to work in the growing Vitamins and Supplements Industry? Vitamin World, one of the leading Retailers in Health and Wellness for the past 40 years, is hiring! We are seeking a Store Manager to join our dynamic team in the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, Illinois.
If you are upbeat, energetic and performance driven, with proven sales experience and excellent customer service skills, you may be the individual we are looking for!
Essential Functions:
Responsible for all aspects of managing a single retail store; including daily store operations, merchandise, inventory and expense control.
Lead and execute all company initiatives and objectives, with an emphasis on maintaining top level customer experience and exceeding key performance indicators.
Verify daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
Address customer needs, problem resolution, while ensuring positive and long-term relationships.
Ensures inventory data is correct by performing and verification of accurate cycle counts, physical inventory, along with shipping and receiving of merchandise.
Collaborate with District Manager to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies.
Recruit, hire, train and mentor staff.
Coach, counsel and execute performance reviews.
Implement all store policies and procedures.
Holds team accountable.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of retail sales management experience.
Proficiency with supervisory and leadership capabilities to lead and motivate store associates.
Ability to assess talent, coach, develop and manage performance.
Passion for health, nutrition, fitness and helping others.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
Must have the ability to lift up to 40lbs.
