Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical duties under the supervision of a provider in a high-volume, patient-centered medical clinic including Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM), Chronic Care Management (CCM), Fall Risk Assessments, and TM Flow (Autonomic Nervous System Testing), amongst others as deemed necessary by providers.
  • Assist providers; escort patients to testing rooms, interview patients, measure vital statistics, and document the electronic record based on the results of this testing.
  • Give instructions to patients per provider's orders or based on testing results.
  • Assist patients with utilizing a phone application for easy access and communication in regards to RTM and CCM mentioned above.
  • Preparing future schedules to determine eligible patients for enrollment in the above programs.

Skills:
  • Exceptional customer service and critical thinking; ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow; ability to multitask; capable of standing, walking, lifting, and other physical tasks as needed for prolonged periods.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent; certified Medical Assistant or equivalent work experience preferred; computer literacy; ability to stand, walk, lift, climb, and other physical tasks as needed.
  • Medical Assistant experience preferred.
